Since I haven't spent much time on my sewing machine I thought that making a gift for a friend who is soon to have her third would help motivate me to get back at it. I gave myself an alotted amount of time and was quite pleased with the outcome. Because I am not a serious quilter I go with simplicity and have the focus mostly on the fabric, Amy Butler at that ( she is one inspired artist).
