A few weeks ago Jeff suprised me by booking us a trip down to St George. We stayed at the LaQuinta down their all I can say is we were treated like royalty thanks to Anthony. Our room was very spacious and the kids were just so amazed at how big the bath tub was, the pool is fabulous and the continental breakfast gets 5 stars from our family ( mostly because our kids had all their needs meet, cereal, sausage, waffels yoghurt and juice). We spent monday night at Ter and Tiffs house along with Holly and Anthony the cousins got a chance to play and swim and eat and watch movies.
Tuesday we headed over to the Brigham Young house for a tour for those of you with children this is a perfect amount of time at 1/2 hour tour. We stopped over at "Fun Fiesta" our kids were in dream world here go carts, bumper boats, arcade and mini golf. Later we swam again.
Wednesday we tackled Zions national park, we thought that our kids would be thrilled to be out doors but Jeff came to realise that his wife becomes paranoid with the combo of steep cliffs and her precious children and his kids are more city slickers, with that said it was beautiful and peaceful for the most part. On our way back to town we stopped at a rock store with the idea that our kids could take a treasure(precious rock) home Caleb's choice magnets just like at Grandmas and Grandpas and Charlotte's choicebeads to make a necklace and half were lost just as we arrived home from the trip, it did'nt seem to bother her. We then headed to the Johnson farm dinosour museum worth checking out as it's the actual site where dinosour track and bones were discovered. We went out to eat with Holly and Anthony and this is when we discovered that Anthony has connections
Thursday we had to get some minor repairs on the car, so I got to run off with Tiffany and see some great fabric stores and we came back then proceed to spend the afternoon evening chatting and catching up and hanging out.
Then friday we headed over to the St George temple's visitor center to take the kids to see some of the movies their "Stone cutter" and another about a pioneer girl ( how lame that I forgot the name) these both were fabulous stories of pioneers we walked around the temple and headed out of town to stay the night in Beaver.
This was such a delightful trip we felt fortunate to go on vacation and spend time with family and have the best weather while we were their.

Fun! We are heading down to Zion's in April. I'll have to call you for details. We have never been before:)
I like you butterflies. I've seen white plastic one's at the store's lately and want to buy them so bad, but they are $30! I like your idea! Way cute!
lol! I like the sign with the person falling off of the cliff! I would've been a nervous wreck with the combo of that and my kids too! :) You guys have the CUTEST little family! My favorite pic is Charlotte with her sunglasses on. What a classy little chick.
